Mission: To provide nourishment and growth to the physical, social and spiritual needs of our community of faith through shared experiences, dialogue and fellowship.
Small Groups:
AM Women’s Bible Study—This
bible study group meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 9:30 to 11:00 am. Contact Jan Schwanke 310-9622.
Brew Crew—a group where people 22-35 who aren't parents can gather for fellowship and study. Contact Stephanie Skogan at 507-399-9732 for meeting time and place or more information about the group.
Brown Bag Bible Study—a group who gather over sack lunches to study the lessons for the coming Sunday. Everyone is welcome to come Wednesdays from 12-1. No advance preparation required. Contact Julie Klock for more information.
COPE—This
group is for people participating in the care of their elderly parents or relatives. They meet for mutual support and information sharing. Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each monthly at 7:15 pm. Contact Vernetta Westbrook 255-3259 or Reenie Visness 246-9322.
Dialogue Group—This group meets Monday nights at the home of Ted and Velma Ziehe to discuss a book chosen by the group. A wide variety of books have been discussed over the group’s 10+ year history. Contact Ted and Velma Ziehe 345-1395.
Early
Risers—A group started by couples who attend the 8:00 am
Sunday Church service. They meet monthly for fellowship and fun. Contact Betty Jo Alexander 918-3108.
First Time Parents—this group arises annually for 6-8 weeks to help our newest parents network with one another. Watch for announcements in December and January - or call the church office 346-5683.
Gad-a-bouts—a group for single women 36 and up. The group gathers for meals, outings and support (as needed). Call Gloria Hayden at 342-0837 to be added to the e-mail alerts.
Genealogy
Group—Interest family researchers gather to exchange ideas and
learn about researching the genealogy of their family history and pictures. The group meets monthly. Contact Bill and Norma Neeley 255-7552.
Hurting
Bodies-Healing Spirit—This group is for those individuals living with their own, or family member’s chronic illness. The group meets monthly. Watch bulletin announcements for date, time and place. Contact Renee Otken 342-7922.
I Do X 50—for couples who have attained their Golden Anniversary. Contact Ellie Erchinger 345-9310 for details of the next gathering.
Marriage Enrichment Group—This group includes married couples who meet monthly in member’s homes for study and fellowship. Contact Della Robinson 249-5042.
Mary Martha Friendship Group—This group provides a social setting that nurtures Christian growth and fellowship for all ladies, of all ages. Programs include various topics or bible study. Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:30 pm. Contact Diane Pilat 345-7464 or Cece Coffman at 331-8986.
Mothers of Young Children—A group of mothers with children ages newborn to 3 years. Meet other mothers and their little ones for fellowship, fun and support. Contact RuthAnn Gaede 527-9053.
M & Ms (Men and Ministry)—this group provides opportunities for fun, fellowship and service to the men of TLLC. To get involved, and find out what's coming, contact Tom Wells at 219-1363.

Timers—This group is for people who are retired and prefer

Say
Hello—This group gathers for fellowship and to craft cards
for the church and personal use. Contact Barb Ferriola 238-0987.
Writing
About Life—This group is for individuals 55+ who are interested
in writing and want to leave behind more than a tombstone. Contact TLLC 346-5683 for more information.
Other Nurture Programs and Events:
Divine
Chefs—This group is a delectable combination of fellowship
and cooking in the new TLLC kitchen. They will prepare four main dish recipes each month. Extra dishes will be prepared each month to be given to new parents and others in need. ContactJanet

Geo
Groups—All members are assigned to one of thirteen geo groups
according to their home address. The importance of these groups is to deepen relationships between members, provide opportunities for Christian service and for members to relate to each other on a smaller level within a large church community. Contact Janice Daily 346-5683.

Prayer
Chain—Become a link in the chain that prays daily, individually
and confidentially for the needs of other my name. Contact Janice Daily 346-5683.
Stephen Ministry—Train to be a Stephen Minister, an interdenominational, one-to-one lay ministry of empathetic listening by caring and sharing trained ministers. Training addresses death, grief, loss, substance abuse, separation, divorce, illness and aging. Contact Richard Klingner 343-9438 or Joan Stys 794-0667.
Wednesday Morning Prayer Team—This group meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to
9:30 a.m. to pray together for our members, the needs of our congregation, community and the world. Personal prayer request are confidential. Contact Joyce Olson 261-3457.
