Red BulletAdvent Special Offerings will go to Safe Place, a local organization that supports women, children, and men hurt by sexual and domestic violence, and a nationally-recognized leader for its innovative and effective programs.

Red Bullet Can You Help Us Deliver 150+ Gifts to Agua Viva? We will load gifts into cars at TLLC on Saturday, December 6 from 8-9 am, then drive in a caravan to Agua Viva near Laredo, where we’ll unload the gifts and do a service project, participate in a Christmas pageant, spend the night, and worship together. We'll get back to Austin around 5 p.m. on Sunday. All ages are welcome. Sign up in the hallway after services. Questions to Mary Halaney at 913-0118.

Red Bullet Fair Trade Coffee, Tea, and More—Triumphant Love participates in the Lutheran World Relief Fair Trade Coffee project, selling coffee, tea, cocoa, baking chocolate, chocolate bars, nuts, and dried fruit. All of the products are of high quality and taste great, and many cost less than at the grocery store or coffee shop. When you buy through the Lutheran World Relief Fair Trade Coffee project, it ensures that more of the money you spend reaches the farmers. You can purchase these products between church services Sunday, December 7.

Red BulletChristmas Party for the Homeless—St. David’s Trinity Center gives a Christmas party for their homeless and urban poor neighbors every year. Volunteers are needed to wrap gifts and set up for the party Saturday morning, December 13, and to help with the party Sunday afternoon, December 14. Several TLLC members have helped with this in the past and found it a very meaningful and rewarding experience. To sign up, contact Edwina Worley at eworley@austin.rr.com hm-346-6788. If you can’t come, but would like to make a donation, please contact Sharon Voudouris-Ross.

Don't forget the Peanut Butter TLLC is designated “the peanut butter church” by Hill Country Ministries. That means we’ve committed to keep the HCCM food pantry shelves stocked with peanut butter. Consider making it a habit to stop by the peanut butter shelf first every time you visit the grocery store, and pick up a small jar. Make this a part of your regular Sunday offering at TLLC.
