Worship and Music Committee — Plan and oversee the worship services of our congregation.

Worship Leaders

Acolyte Trainer/Assistant — Train or assist with acolytes.
Acolytes—Assist the pastors at the altar with readings and assist in communion.

Assisting Ministers — Assist the pastor(s) at the altar with readings and assist in Communion.
Readers — Read the lessons and psalm for the day. Instructions and text are sent by mail the week prior to serving. Assist with Communion.
Communion Assistants — Assist the pastors with Communion.

Worship Facilitators:
Communion Bread Providers — Provide loaves of bread (homemade or purchased) for Communion.
Greeters — Wear a special smile while greeting and shaking hands with visitors and members as they arrive for worship.
Ushers — Distribute bulletins as worshipers enter the sanctuary, assist in seating, guide Communion participants, receive the offering and count the number of people at each service. Training provided.
Altar Guild — Prepare altar for worship and Communion; decorate the sanctuary according to the posted liturgical calendar. Training provided.
Audio/Visual Team — Maintain the A/V Room and train interested volunteers in the use of the equipment for worship services and special events. Techs and subs needed.
Drama Ministry — Participate in occasional amateur dramatic presentations/special productions.
Liturgical Arts — Develop worshipful art expressions for each liturgical season and for special themes.
Flower Guild – Provide appropriate flowers at each service. Facilitate delivery of worship flowers to sponsors or area care facilities.
