Kate Weber is a lifelong learner with a passion for PreK-12 education. Kate joined the Child Development Center family in January 2013 when daughter Alice became a Star, as if she weren’t one already. Son Luke soon joined the fun as Puppy and has grown within the school to be a Bear. Because of the school, Kate and her family were inspired to join the Triumphant Love congregation in 2016. When she is not serving as Sock-Finder-in-Chief and Lead Snack Chef at the Weber Haus, Kate runs her own consulting business, serves on the Summit Elementary PTA Board, and volunteers with local non-profits like Hand to Hold. For fun, Kate checks Facebook from the nearest closet and fantasizes about taking a Disney Cruise.
Laura Mumme, CDC Director
Laura is a graduate of UT, go horns! She has worked on and off in the childcare field for over 20 years as an assistant director, a lead teacher, and an assistant teacher in many centers in Austin. She has been at the Child Development Center preschool for 15 years and a member of Triumphant Love since 1991. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Chuck, for about 20 years, and they have three children and one granddaughter. She loves gardening, crafts, and cooking in her free time!
I am an outgoing, positive person with almost ten years’ experience in the educational field. I have worked in administration at many different childcare facilities in the greater Austin area and I genuinely enjoy working with young children. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications, and a State of Texas Directors license. My husband, James, and I moved to Austin after college and I now consider Texas my home. We have two beautiful daughters, Sadie and Charlotte. As a family we love being outdoors, cooking, yoga and exploring all that Austin has to offer.
I am so excited to be a part of the Triumphant Love family! I love my work with children, their joy and learning always brings love to my heart and a smile to my face. I look forward to getting to know all the children and experiencing this magical school year together, here at Triumphant Love.
