My name is Maria Isabel López and I am currently the teacher assistant in the Brontos Class. I was born in Eagle Pass but raised in Austin. I have three brothers and one sister. I graduated from Austin High and am bilingual in Spanish and English. I am a proud mother of four children, two boys and two girls. I have worked as an AmeriCorps member helping with early literacy workshops for parents of Pre-K students. I also worked as a Parent Bookclub Facilitator in early childhood programs providing parents with literacy tricks and techniques to help make read aloud enjoyable for the whole family. I spend my time with my family enjoying them as much as possible by going out to the movies, bike riding, going to the park and traveling to Monterrey, Mexico to visit family. In my spare time I love to crochet. I am very happy and excited to work with Triumphant Love CDC and look forward to a great year!
