Celebrate and share God's GRACE

Michelle Turner

I started teaching in preschools during the late 1990’s when my son Aaron and daughter Lauren were growing up. Once they started elementary school, I started doing work outside of preschool in various positions but found myself missing kids.
In the fall of 2003, my husband and I had our third child, Lily. Once again, I found myself back in the preschool environment. This time however, I was introduced into the world of Maria Montessori. In 2005 I became Montessori certified to teach infants and toddlers up to age three.
In 2009, I took an assistant teaching position with Pflugerville ISD. I had the opportunity of working in a special needs program with preschoolers and absolutely loved it.
I’ve been married to my sweetheart Aaron since 1988. We enjoy playing disc golf together as well as cooking for our family.
My girls and I like to paint, shop and walk our dogs together. My son and I like to spend quality time together by eating at different restaurants around Austin.
Currently, I like to bake, and have plans for an herb garden this spring. I’m taking a sign language class one day a week. And, for the past two years I’ve been teaching the four-year-olds in my church.
One thing I’ve learned, life is truly a journey and most certainly not perfect. Jesus is the answer to every situation and the best choice I’ve ever made. He is where my hope, ability, and strength are found.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to teach, learn and grow here at Triumphant Love. I’m looking forward to working alongside all teachers and staff as we do life together with you and your kiddos.
