Baptisms

Baptism is a sacrament of the church—meaning that it is a place where God promises to be tangibly present in the mystery of water and the Word. In baptism, we hear God’s announcement of grace—God’s unconditional love for each of us and all creation. We believe that baptism invites us into the fullness of life where we discover more deeply who we are by participating in God’s mission to love and serve our neighbor and strive for justice and peace. Because we believe that baptism is a free gift of God’s grace, we baptize people of any age, often in the first months of life.

If you are interested in more information about Baptism at TLLC, please fill out the Baptism Form. In order for us to be best prepared to celebrate your special day, please schedule at least a month in advance. Note: Not all Sundays are available. Be prepared with a second option.

Weddings-TLLC

Weddings

At Triumphant Love, we believe that we have been called to inspire people to live boldly in God’s triumphant love in everything that we do. A cornerstone of our ministry is our commitment to embracing all with unconditional love. Because of this, we open our doors and welcome couples and families of all races, sexualities, income levels, and faith traditions—as well as our own members who might be considering using our beautiful sanctuary and campus to celebrate their marriage.

If you are interested in more information about Weddings at TLLC, first view our Wedding Booklet,  then fill out a Wedding Form.

Funerals & Memorials

At a person’s death, the church shares the grief of those who mourn and remembers the brevity of life on earth. At the funeral we give voice to sorrow, thank God for our loved one, and entrust this companion of ours into the hands of God. Trusting in God’s promise in baptism that we are claimed by Christ forever, we rest in the sure hope of the resurrection. When the church gathers to mark the end of this life, Christ crucified and risen is the witness of worship, the strength of mutual consolation, and the hope of healing. When the church gathers to mark the end of this life, it also gathers to give thanks for the promise of eternal life. The funeral service may be adapted for use as a memorial service when the body or ashes are not present. For more information about services, please fill out the Funerals & Memorials form. Click here for more information about our Resurrection Garden for internment or scattering of ashes.
