Deb Darnell

Congregation Engagement Leader

Deb Darnell is a passionate believer in the power of community and is excited to bring her diverse experiences and leadership skills to Triumphant Love. Previously a successful banker with an MBA, she will pursue her calling to become a pastor and attend Luther Seminary this fall through the distributed learning program.

Deb’s extensive Lutheran background includes helping to start two churches in Texas, as well as holding a variety of lay leadership positions. She is a skilled small group leader and helped lead a Stephen Ministry program. Beyond her church work, Deb enjoys gardening, making music, quilting, and listening to live music. She is an avid cook and loves to share meals with her friends and two adult children and son-in-law.
