John and wife have been members of TLC for over 20 years. They joined because of the friendliness of the people, the variety of church services offered, and the music program. John was raised in the Lutheran Church and met Melanie through Lutheran Young Adults. Two of his great grandfathers were Lutheran pastors and one grandfather was a Baptist missionary in Mexico. His work background is in operations and construction with school organizations, including the maintenance of facilities, custodial services, school transportation, food service, and new construction. He has worked for Pflugerville ISD, Lake Travis ISD, University of Texas, and Texas School for the Blind. After retirement 5 years he keeps busy working on multiple projects around the house and at the family lake house at Inks Lake. John’s favorite thing about TLLC is the relationships he gains with other Christians.
