Middle School
Middle School Ministry at Triumphant Love is focused on building lifelong friendships and dipping our toes in the water of call, leadership, and helping to figure out why we believe what we believe. We acheive this through traditional faith education as well as service and fellowship opportunities. We also offer classes and fellowship for parents of middle schoolers to help our families thrive in this new phase of life.
Our Middle School Ministry program offers many events and activities throughout the year. To see dates and times for events and activities, visit our calendar and event registration page. If you would like to learn more about the Middle School Ministry fill out a Connections Card.

Sundays 10-10:50am (Youth Room)
Ages 6th – 8th grade. We share group devotions, theological discussions, and lots of questions; all geared toward this age group.
Wednesday 6-7:30pm (throughout building according to grade)
Classes for 6th-8th grade. Our three-year faith education and mentoring program is dedicated to creating faithful young adults. Students learn Scripture and Luther’s Small Catechism and are on their way to figuring out their Lutheran identity, what it means to have faith in the world, and discerning their spiritual gifts. They spend the first 30 minutes in small group time with their mentors around their designated dinner tables. The second 30 minutes they are dismissed to their classrooms for instruction time. The last 30 minutes everyone converges at the Outdoor Worship Area for Wednesday Evening Worship.
Registration begins in August.

November
6th-12th graders participate in prepping for and baking fresh Thanksgiving pies for local school PTA organizations, our Outreach Ministry partners, neighborhood first responders, and our congregation. This huge event helps raise money for the youth ministry and often attracts youth alumni who like to drop in and help out!
December
Prepare for the coming of Christmas by singing karaoke, making fun Advent crafts, decorating cookies, and competing in a chili cook-off. Free event, dinner served.
Good Friday 10:00am (Begins in TLLC parking lot)
This is a special Good Friday worship event for all ages and abilities. Take part in activities corresponding to the Stations of the Cross beginning and ending in our Outdoor Worship Area. This is ideal for families of young children for whom the traditional Good Friday worship may not be appropriate, but truly is for everyone. Accessibility needs are accommodated if movement is difficult.
June

June/July
Camp Hope is offered two different weeks for children 4 years old – completed 6th grade. This is a unique adult-mentored, youth-led ministry. Each day, children hear a new Bible story & learn what it means through hands-on, creative and age-appropriate activities. All day long every activity points them back to the Bible story. This is done through small groups, worship, snacks, art, STEM, drama and music! Registration begins in February.
August Sunday immediately following the last worship service.
Everyone is invited to this end of summer celebration. There is food from the grill, yard games, inflatable water toys, and lots of fun for all.
