Outreach
The Outreach Ministry Team fosters a culture of service for members of all ages. Besides leading hands-on service projects, the Outreach Ministry Team encourages partnerships and volunteer work in support of TLLC’s mission to celebrate and share God’s love in our community and around the world.

An ELCA tradition since 2013, this is a celebration of all the Outreach ministries supported by TLLC in September/October. It is marked by a special liturgy in worship and several onsite service activities for all ages. Offsite opportunities in several locations happen throughout the month. These projects provide hands-on service opportunities throughout the year for children, parents, grandparents, and anyone who enjoys serving others. These multigenerational experiences build relationships, strengthen our faith, and support Triumphant Love’s outreach partners and congregational ministries. Austin City Lutherans
Formed in 2011 by the ELCA worshipping communities in Austin, Austin City Lutherans adopted the moniker “More, Better, Together” to guide its mission to serve low-income individuals and families. Ministries supported by ACL include:
Bread for All
A food pantry ministry located at Faith Presbyterian Church, 1314 E Oltorf Street. Triumphant Love provides financial support, collects food donations, and assists with stocking and distribution on Mondays. Donations can be dropped off at the TLLC Sharing Station in the Narthex.

Move-In Ministry
Move-in Ministry
ACL's Move-In Ministry provides furniture and household items to people exiting homelessness. Triumphant Love members donate and deliver new or gently-used items as needed.

Mariposa Family Learning Center
ACL volunteers and donors helped open MFLC in 2020. This is a childcare center that also educates parents (2-Gen) located in the Montopolis neighborhood of East Austin. Triumphant Love members provide financial support and assist with staff and children activities.

Austin CROP Hunger Walk
The Austin CROP Hunger Walk raises funds to help combat hunger in our community and around the world. An intergenerational team from Triumphant Love participates in this annual springtime walk.

Lutheran Campus Ministry (LuMin)-UT
TLLC sponsors Tailgate Tuesday about once per semester where volunteers prepare and serve a delicious hot free dinner to roughly 400 students.

Hill Country Community Ministries
Encompasses a Food Pantry, Thrift Store, Fresh Food for All produce distributions, and other assistance to those in need. As a member congregation, Triumphant Love provides volunteers, peanut butter donations, and financial support.

Meals on Wheels Central Texas
Meals on Wheels Central Texas provides hot, nutritious home-delivered meals to seniors and the disabled who would otherwise go hungry. Triumphant Love teams deliver mid-day meals on Mondays and Thursdays.

Bread for the World
Bread for the World is a collective Christian voice urging our nation’s decision makers to end hunger at home and abroad. As a Covenant Church, Triumphant Love participates in an annual Offering of Letters to advocate an end to hunger.

ELCA World Hunger works to address hunger and poverty through education, advocacy, relief, and development in the US and nearly 60 countries. Triumphant Love provides financial support through designated donations or by linking their Randalls Remarkable card to “Triumphant Love” through the Good Neighbor Program.

Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT) cultivates peace and respect through interfaith dialogue, service, and celebration. Triumphant Love members participate in iACT events, including The Red Bench, an ongoing dialogue program, and interfaith worship services.

Texas Impact advocates for state public policies that are consistent with the shared values of Texas Faith communities. Triumphant Love is a member congregation and participates in Advocacy Days and other events.

Water to Thrive is dedicated to the mission of bringing clean, safe water to those who need it in rural Africa. Triumphant Love has supported the building of over 100 water projects since 2008.
