The 6 at-large positions along with the President and President-Elect comprise the Congregation Council. These members are elected at the Annual Congregational Meeting in January, and they hold general oversight of the life and activities of the congregation, including the annual budget and congregation finances, long-range planning, setting strategic goals and priorities, and evaluating ministry activities in light of our mission and goals.
The members of the BOM are appointed by the Senior Pastor and are comprised of the Chairs of each ministry area. They are tasked with working collaboratively across their individual ministry scope to develop and implement the Strategic Goals of the congregation set forth by the Council in accordance with the congregation’s mission alongside the ongoing work of their particular ministry area.
Each ministry team develops, implements, schedules, promotes, and evaluates activities to achieve the church’s ministry and goals as defined by Council. These teams also identify, recruit, train, coordinate, and communicate with volunteers in carrying out specific ministry activities throughout the year.
