Deacon Kelly Jensen
Deacon of Adult Faith Formation
Kelly Jensen comes to us with 25 years of ministry experience which includes faith formation for all ages, campus ministry, speaking engagements, retreat leadership, curriculum writing, church consulting, and spiritual direction. She has worked for several denominations and is now a deacon in Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Arts in Religion and Theology, as well as specialized training in Spiritual Direction.
Her personal faith is enlightened, inspired and informed by holy scriptures and practices of many faiths. She is a nature enthusiast, writer, blogger, and avid football fan (especially the Green Bay Packers!) She’s visited the Holy Land, swum with dolphins in Mexico, and snorkeled in Hawaii. She has two grown sons: one is serving in the Air Force in Fort Worth, the other lives in Wisconsin and is studying to become a welder. Kelly recently moved here from Wisconsin to escape the Frozen Tundra and is currently loving Texas weather and BBQ!
