Our first-born daughter was 6 months old, and we were just 10 months in our new home, having moved from Seattle. We found TLLC nearby and started attending. We were drawn to TLLC and its welcoming presence to families, and with our new born we felt comfortable and optimistic about being part of a church that had healthy roots in providing a great environment for our child (and now children).
I will bring to the council a diverse set of community needs and perspectives – with ECHO in the annual homeless count in Austin, as President of my neighborhood’s Home Owners Association, and as a basketball coach for my daughter’s team. You can often find me helping in the church kitchen with pancake breakfasts and at Trunk-or-Treat. I’d love to bring my professional work experience in technology and organizational development to the Council and enrich our ability to serve our congregation in more creative ways.
My favorite thing about Triumphant Love is the diverse community engagement which has provided our family with a warm, genuine, and welcoming tribe of faith, love, and support. Our children are excited to go to church because of this and it means the world to us.
