Rev. Armin Steege

Armin and his wife have three daughters, two living in Austin and one in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of Luther College where he received his B.A.; Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago where he completed his work for his M. Div; and Pan American University (currently UT-Pan Am) where he received his M. Ed. Pastor Armin served as pastor to the Spanish-speaking congregation of St. John’s Lutheran (La Iglesia Luterana de San Juan) in San Juan, Texas. The majority of his professional career has been spent in mental health as therapist and later as administrator. Armin is licensed as a professional counselor and marriage and family therapist. He recently retired as Special Advisor at Austin Children’s Services.
