I was born and raised in California, but made my way to Texas after enlisting in the US Army. My first duty station brought me to Fort Hood, TX, which then led me to study economics at The University of Texas at Austin. I am married to my best friend, Ben, and we are the proud parents of two daughters. Our family came to the CDC 7 years ago, when our youngest started as a Puppy. She has moved on to elementary school and her sister is now working her way through the CDC. When not chasing them around, or volunteering at the schools, I enjoy exercising, exploring Austin, and spending time with friends and family.
