When searching for a preschool in the spring of 2024 for our daughter, my husband, Brice, and I were thrilled to find TLLC close to our “neck of the woods.” It has been supportive in her growth and is the community I was searching for that I had with my own childhood, growing up in a Southwest Wisconsin small town. As an oncology patient navigator and acupuncturist, co-founder of the Moving Beyond Cancer Collaborative nonprofit as well as The Desert Canary wellness center, I’m grateful that the TLLC preschool hours allow me to have a balance between work and being a mom. I hold a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and look forward to contributing as a TLCC parent board member.
