6-week series: September 4/5, 2024 – October 9/10, 2024
Wednesdays Online @ 11am
Thursdays @ 1pm, Community Classroom
Walk through the miracles of Jesus with Pastor Danielle and scholar Amy-Jill Levine as she examines selected miracles of Jesus in historical and theological context. For each miracle, she discusses not only how past witnesses would have understood the events, but also how today’s readers can draw meaning from Jesus’s words and actions.
Amy-Jill Levine is a self-described “unorthodox” member of an Orthodox synagogue and a Yankee Jewish feminist who until 2021 taught at a predominantly Christian divinity school in the buckle of the Bible belt!
The class includes a participant book, which is not required.
Books can be purchased from your favorite bookseller or click MORE BOOK INFO
This six-week class will be presented in two formats: Wednesdays at 11:00PM online and Thursdays at 1:00PM in-person in the Community Classroom. Grab your favorite Bible and come for either class or use the recorded sessions for a self-guided study!
