Come celebrate Earth with us! Enjoy a day with family and neighbors learning more about ways to care for our environment. This FREE event will feature activities for all ages with booths from a variety of organizations covering a wide range of topics including the following:
- FREE Raffle drawings every hour!
- Children’s Scavenger Hunt with prizes
- Petting zoo sponsored by TLLC Children’s Ministry
- Healthy Foods – Learn how to safely freeze foods to reduce waste and enjoy a FREE Mom+Pops all natural frozen pop.
- Tree Folks – Learn about trees that do well in our area, and how to care for them.
- Austin Bat Refuge – Meet some of the bats in our area and find out how they help us and how they are harmed by us.
- Austin Wildlife Rescue – Meet Tortellini, a native Texas tortoise, and learn about native Texas wildlife and threatened species.
- Texas Mycological Society – Pick up a mushroom block to grow your own or improve your soil.
- Travis County Master Gardeners Plant Clinic – Learn how to grow plants that will thrive in our climate and pollinate a flower with a bee puppet.
- Homegrown National Park – Learn how you can address the biodiversity crisis by adding native plants and removing invasive ones from your yard. Make an acorn whistle.
- Native Plant Society – Get a free native plant and learn more about why they matter.
- Decorate a terra cotta pot to plant your own native plant seed.
- Bull Creek Foundation – Learn how to protect Bull Creek’s delicate ecological balance.
- A Rocha Texas – Be a wildlife detective! Identify Texas animals and learn about local conservation efforts.
- Invasive Species – Discover what’s wrong with invasive species and what we can we do about them.
- Sierra Club – Explore ways to enjoy, protect and restore Earth’s ecosystems.
- Austin Water – Find out how water is managed in Austin, and how we can help to conserve it.
- Water to Thrive – Haul your own water to get a sense of how providing water wells in Africa is life-changing for so many.
- Austin Resource Recovery – Get your questions answered about what is compostable and what is recyclable in the City of Austin.
- Zero Waste Block Leader – Find out how you can keep as much as possible out of the landfill.
- El Camino Real de los Tejas National Historic Trail Association (ElCaT) – Learn about the primary overland route for the Spanish colonization of what is now Texas and the site of the original creation story of the Tonkawa people of Texas.
- Wildfire Preparedness – Receive practical guidance to reduce fire hazards, safeguard local ecosystems, and strengthen neighborhood resilience.
- Environment Texas –Meet this nonprofit advocacy group working for clean air and water, parks and wildlife and a livable climate.

- TLLC Child Development Center – Explore our preschool program, including its outdoor learning activities.

- Austin City Lutherans Move-In Ministry – Learn how you can donate used household furnishings for people exiting homelessness.
- Play a little Nature Corn Hole.
- Creation Station – Make something from household items rather than throwing them away, and learn about Austin Creative Reuse.
