In spite of all we have heard and all we have seen, it is often hard to believe even one week after Easter. This week the gospel story about Thomas makes this feeling of disbelief palpable. Because it is hard to believe, we will celebrate the Easter mystery again and again (for a week of weeks). Because it is hard to believe, John the evangelist will provide signs again and again celebrating Jesus’ victory over death. Because it is hard to believe, the risen Christ will return to us again and again in the mystery of baptism, inviting us to feel his presence and calling us to a life of faith. Because it is hard to believe, the risen Christ will return to us again and again in the mystery of holy communion, inviting us to experience his presence and offering us his peace. Join us in worship again and again until the good news of Easter becomes real and believable for you. Join us as Pastor Brad Fuerst from UT’s Lutheran Campus Ministry (LuMin) reminds us how the living Christ shows up again and again to us!
