TLLC Mission Launch

Jesus’ summary of the law in today’s gospel echoes God’s commands from the beginning of time. We are called not only to love God with heart, soul, and mind, but also to love our neighbor as ourselves. Yet, we do not do these bold tasks alone; rather Isaiah reminds us that God actually imbues and inspires us with the Holy Spirit so that we can answer this call. Certainly, we can confess that we have not loved God, neighbor, and ourselves faithfully at all times; yet we gather to hear a word of forgiveness and encouragement and to be strengthened by a meal that nourishes us to be signs of God’s triumphant love in the world.

Join us this Sunday as we reveal TLLC’s new ministry mission that will propel us into the future! At worship we will join in a rededication of ourselves to mission in Christ’s name, and during the Sunday School hour we will join together for a Pancake Breakfast with a Summer Recap and more about our mission and strategic goals. Hope to see you there!
