For more than 40 years, TLLC member Fred Grampp has faithfully volunteered with Hill Country Community Ministries (HCCM), a nonprofit organization that provides food, clothing, and other assistance to individuals and families in need. Fred helped establish HCCM’s thrift store in the early 1980s and later served as president of its Board of Directors. Today, he continues to serve in many ways, including volunteering in the food pantry and helping with donation pickups for the thrift store. In 2023, Family Eldercare recognized Fred as one of its “80 Over Eighty Honorees.”
For many years, Triumphant Love has supported HCCM as a member church. In addition to our financial support, we’re known as “the peanut butter church.” And who faithfully delivers our peanut butter donations? Fred, of course!
In June, TLLC’s Outreach Committee invited the congregation to donate 89 jars of peanut butter in celebration of Fred’s 89th birthday. Thanks to your wonderful generosity, we not only reached our goal—we exceeded it by collecting 119 jars! Happy Birthday, Fred, and thank you for your many years of faithful service!
