On March 26, a group from TLLC made a visit to Community First Village.
Our mission was to deliver breakfast to the Village and spend time visiting with the neighbors. We brought an assortment of breakfast tacos for them along with orange juice and, of course, coffee.
Promptly at 9:00, they arrived at the fairly new Living Room building where we served them their choice of tacos, served them coffee and juice. It was obvious from the beginning of the breakfast that any taco with bacon in it was a hit!
Once all the neighbors had received their fill of tacos, we had the opportunity to visit and “hang out” with them. We played pool, dominos, and shared stories over the remains of breakfast.
Clean-up and a promise to return again in the future rounded out the morning. For those that had never been to Community First Village, the staff provided a tour before we headed home.
