Our annual God’s work. Our hands. Sunday was held on September 25.
TLLC members participated in numerous onsite projects that morning and also volunteered at Camp Lutherhill, LuMin-Austin campus ministry, and Community First! Village on other days.
THANK YOU to Project Leaders, Participants, Donors, Photographers, Coffee Connections Team, and TLLC Staff. Special thanks to Thrivent for providing Action Team grants to offset our project costs.

Children and youth collected $769 in a Noisy Offering during both worship services in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Lutheran World Relief.
Our members donated 152 pounds of food and 955 diapers to the Austin City Lutherans Bread for All food pantry in South Austin. We also donated 172 jars of peanut butter to Hill Country Community Ministries.

We provided household items for Austin City Lutherans Move-In Ministry for distribution to people transitioning into supportive housing. Donations included pots & pans, silverware, towels, and bed sheets.

We packed 67 Care Kits for distribution at Upbring’s Health for Friends Clinics. Fancy soap donations were packaged separately for Upbring’s BeREAL program which supports teens aging out of foster care.

Artists of all ages created 35 Hope for the Holidays cards for Global Refuge to send to individuals and families seeking safety in the United States.

We also assembled windchimes for the Memorial Garden at Mothers’ Milk Bank at Austin.

Bandage rolling was a popular project. Global Health Ministries distributes these bandages to overseas clinics and hospitals.

Our members wrote 12 advocacy letters to U.S. Senators and Representatives urging them to protect and strengthen nutrition programs that help children reach their full potential using materials provided by Bread for the World.

An assembly line filled 390 snack bags to distribute to UT students at Tailgate Tuesday.

Led by TLLC’s Care of Creation Team, TLLC’s Story & Play children sowed seeds while the adults planted over 100 native plants to create a pollinator garden on our property.

TLLC members chased away countless dust bunnies and dead crickets in our sanctuary.

Even though our students in Grades 3-5 were offsite at a retreat, they also participated by cleaning up faith spaces at Camp Lutherhill.

On Wednesday, October 8, TLLC volunteers hosted breakfast at Community First! Village, serving breakfast and conversation to 75 neighbors there.
