5-week series: November 6/7, 2024 – December 11/12, 2024
Wednesdays Online @ 11am
Thursdays @ 1pm, Community Classroom
His parents gave him the name Jesus. But the prophets, the shepherds, the wise men, and the angels addressed him by other names. They called him Lord, Messiah, Savior, Emmanuel, Light of the World, and Word Made Flesh. (This year’s Advent & Christmas theme at TLLC is Emmanuel.) Join Pastor Danielle & best-selling author Adam Hamilton as we examine the names of Christ used by the gospel writers, exploring the historical and personal significance of his birth.
This Advent season we prepare once again for his coming. In the face of uncertainty and conflict, Christians reclaim the Christ-Child, who brings us together, heals our hearts, and calls us to bring light into the darkness. We cry, “O Come, Emmanuel,” as we reflect upon the significance of this birth in our lives and world once again!
The class includes a participant book, which is not required. If you would like your own copy of the book, please contact info@tllc.org ASAP to reserve a copy. If you are able to make a donation for the book, the suggested donation is $12. Please note “Pastor’s Bible Study” on your gift.
