Through the image of a farmer scattering seed on different kinds of soil, Jesus challenges us to examine the condition of our own hearts. Are we hard, shallow, distracted, or ready to bear fruit? As we walk through this parable together, let us ask God to nurture the soil of our hearts so that the Word may take root and produce a harvest in us and through us.
