The Red Bench: 2020

Triumphant Love hosted about 70 attendees for February’s The Red Bench. Sponsored by Interfaith Action of Central Texas (iACT), The Red Bench is an ongoing dialogue program designed to improve interfaith understanding and civil discourse in our society.

The evening began with fellowship and a delicious vegetarian supper. Our Visitation Pastor Armin Steege presented the discussion topic: Who Counts & Who Matters. Besides Lutherans, participants included members of Jewish, Muslim, Catholic, Episcopalian, Unity, and other faith communities. The moderated table discussions centered on issues of inequality, immigration, and the upcoming census.
