Translation of the Lord’s Prayer

Most of the words of Jesus we read today were translated from Aramaic to Greek to Latin and then to English (and other modern languages.) In this episode of The Barefoot Deacon we explore translations of The Lord’s Prayer directly from the Aramaic language, which contains multiple layers of meaning. To learn more, check out Neil Doulas-Klotz’s book called Prayers of the Cosmos: Meditations on the Aramaic Words of Jesus.
