Praise the Lord. Praise God in the sanctuary; … Praise God with the sounding of the trumpet, praise God with the harp and lyre, praise God with timbrel and dancing, praise God with the strings and pipe, praise God with the clash of cymbals … Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.” Psalm 150:1a, 3-6
The Worship and Music Ministries of TLLC offered praises throughout the Easter and Pentecost Season, boldly sharing the words of Psalm 150 (well maybe not the dancing) with brass and stringed instruments, piano and organ, drums and rhythm instruments, bells ringing with the Bell Ringers, singing praises with the Choir, joyful praises with the Praise Band, and uplifting music through various musical Ensembles.

The confirmation youth boldly praised the Lord through worship planning, music offerings, developing an AV guide for worship, reading scriptures and participating in the Passion readings. All youth enriched the Wednesday C-o-n-n-e-c-t and Sunday morning worships with greeting, reading, ushering, and assisting with communion.

Worship was led by the Praise Band for the Southwest Texas Synod Assembly

and the Sunday celebration of the installation of Pastor Susie Schnelle and welcoming New Members into the TLLC family!

We celebrated special Milestones with dedications of the new Baptismal Font,

replacement of the Etched Window,

and the artistry of the beautiful green paraments.

The Altar Guild prepared, enriched, and guided our worship, and the AV team made sure that all God’s people could hear and see our worship and praise together!

The Bell Ringers rang in Easter joy before their summer break, the choir’s season finale provided a hymn of praise on Confirmation Sunday, and on the Praise Band’s final Sunday lifted our spirits as we celebrated our graduates!

Worship and music continues with our Summer Teams! Come worship with us at 10am through August 9.
